I'm a big fan of the Cohen Brothers. (perhaps lesser known) Inside Llewyn Davis is about the Greenwich Village scene just before the arrival of Bob Dylan. Oscar Isaac's guitar playing/folk singing character is based on Dave Von Ronk.
