"Rejecting God comes from straying", and "reprobates just love their sin". I heard this on Christian radio at my parents' house. (Why would anyone assume that people love their sin so much that they don't care about damnation?) How about just not believing it altogether? Talk about deep indoctrination!

Because that is the way sky-daddy talks to his earth-kids.
It's a way of making those who want to think for themselves, feel guilty at every angle the can. This is a cult programing technique, and because SO many are followers of Chrisitanity, it's deemed as a religion.
It's an uphill battle to try to come up with a new faith now-a-days, this is why I'm still amazed at Scientology, how new that is, and rounded up so many people with a story that was displayed, as is, on South Park in the episode "Trapped in the Closest"
Total headshaker...

I've always thought that if if Christianity was true, Heaven would get all the self righteous bores, but Hell would be full of the writers artists, thinkers and all the interesting stories.
But then of course a lot of what the Christards call sin is all the best stuff that makes life worth living anyway.
