Lewis Capaldi has just reached the #1 spot on the US Hot Billboard 100 with Someone You Loved. He’s the first Scottish solo artist to do so since Sheena Easton in 1981 with 9 to 5 (Morning Train). Well done Lewis, who is the nephew of ex Doctor Who actor Peter Capaldi.

I only knew because it was mentioned on the Jeremy Vine programme on channel 5 this morning!
@Marionville I like Jeremy's Program but prefer ann Diamond and missed the one you are talking about.
@Mcflewster I preferred it when it was Matthew Wright (The Wright Stuff)...actually think JV is a bit of a plonker!
@Marionville really I mostly watch the newspaper commentary. It saves me money by not having to buy them.
@Mcflewster I read the newspaper headlines on my iPad.
It is very good, he has an excellent strong voice .

Yes...well done to him. He still lives at home in Glasgow with his Mum & Dad...not for much longer I shouldn’t think!
