Do you believe that we all make mistakes that makes us not perfect and love is not all about finding the right person but creating the right relationship

I agree that love and relationships are about acceptance. That is what I taught my son who will soon marry his love of 10 years.
I haven’t been able to find acceptance or maybe I am not accepting enough? Or both? But yeah - acceptance- feeling accepted and loved and inspiring a partner to feel the same.

Probably a bit of both. Long marriages are made of the two. No one is perfect period. LTR are about living with the imperfections.

It isn't either or. There may be more than one right person but there are sure a lot of wrong persons, which doesn't make them bad -- it means they are not people with whom a beneficial relatinship can develop. As for perfection, there is no such thing, and it would be horrifying if there was. It doesn't matter who believes or doesn't believe that everyone makes mistakes. It is a fact, like the earth bring ovoid. Everyone DOES make mistakes, no matter who says otherwise. Anyone who says "I never make mistakes" has just made one.

Yes, but I’d add that the person needs to be willing to try and value the relationship as much as you, and you need to trust and respect each other.
Of course it’s all theory as I’m rubbish at relationships πŸ˜‰

The only way to never make a mistake is to never do anything - and never doing anything is a mistake in and of itself.

Love is about acceptance, among many other things. Unfortunatly it does take the right people to create the "right" relationship. Sorry.
