Does anyone else find it strange (and kind of creepy) when a person's bio on here describes them totally opposite of what their comments consist of? It is beyond bizarre to me.

Not at all strange. Bios are how the person sees themselves, and very, very few people have accurate assessments of themselves. They're ads written by those least able to provide an unbiased view, and I always read them in Crazy Ernie's voce.

There are various reasons for this contrast, including hypocrisy, which is common because people don't realize that they are. It is bizarre, but not surprising.

Don't often read the Bio, I take what they write as their front page.

I agree with you. I don’t read bios either. I let their comments speak for them. Bios tend to tell others who the writer “wants” to be. Their ideal self and perhaps who the aspire to be. Comments tell us who they really are.
