Another missing link. This may upset some theists or maybe not.
I remember meeting a charming young woman who immediately professed her Christian faith.I was a bit taken aback and to change the subject i mentioned a book I was reading at the time called "The Philosopher and the Wolf" by Mark Rowlands and I commented that he discusses the difference in intelligence between apes (us) and wolves..
She looked at me with a horrified expression and said "we are not apes"
Anyway she read the book

I read the Philosopher and the Wolf. One of my favorite philosophy books. I came away having more respect for wolves and less respect for apes.

What did she think of the book?

I'm not sure. I lent her my copy and she returned it within a week or saying that she had bought her own copy so that means she was enthralled with the story or found it unreadable.
Actualy it is a brilliant true tale about the bond between a human and a semi domesticated wild animal and the discussion about the relative intelligence of apes and wolves is only a small part of it.

I think this explains everything.

@maturin1919 technically true, but I think they don't differentiate between the terms primate, monkey, and ape.

Maybe she had a tail?

Well, she was young and attractive so maybe " a bit of tail" 🙂

Well done. If you can start someone looking or reading, then that is the best thing you can do for them.
