I can understand how folks use it to connect with family/'friends', etc.
but . . .
It escapes my comprehension how anyone who might care about critical thinking, credibility, etc. would use FB/AOL/Yahoo for NEWS. 
@ToolGuy I (greatly) prefer original credible (journalistically) sources. IMHO, FB/AOL/Yahoo do not do journalism (and I doubt they care about it since so many have-been/are hornswaggled). They suck at weeding out 'fake news' ( 2016 election ? ). IMHO, their track record(s) are indefensible.
