and i checked him out and yep, not necessarily a troll but definitely odd, and if he was rude to you, or for any other reason you didn't ever want to encounter him again, you are perfectly correct to block him! i am in favor of judicious blocking lol.

@genessa LOL! I do try to be judicious about blocking. I don't block people for not agreeing with me. But to comment on an innocuous post in a rude manner and then go read my bio and make more rude comments is beyond anything I will put up with! Thanks for the support.

@GreatNani no problem. and me too -- if i blocked people for disagreeing with me i would have even more blocked than i do, and i DO have a lot blocked. almost all of them are blocked for making our disagreements personal instead of sticking to issues. example: instead of "i disagree that everyone should have health care," they say "you libtards are all the same," or instead of "i disagree with what you just said and here is why" they say "you obviously have a low iq/are incapable of understanding what i said/need to get laid immediately/should calm down because you're so emotional" (and of course i am the one who has stuck to the issues and called no names until the personal crap starts). so... long block list, but not for ideas. for rudeness/gaslighting/namecalling/etc.
