Another win for the looney side??? If you don’t believe in using oil just exactly what are you purposing we’re use for energy. Perhaps you should be riding a mule instead of driving an automobile. I’m sure it will be overturned by more sane and sensible people.

In today's paper was an associated press item (which I cannot find online) that said "World Consumes more Fuel." Here is a link with the same thing from 2016 and today's report has a graph showing the line has even risen a lot more than 3 years ago. So lets all be like the proverbial lemmings and just keep going off the cliff because we are too short-sighted, stupid, lazy and/or arrogant (or believe some higher power will save us). The definition of crazy is doing the same thing but expecting different outcomes. Maybe some of us can't or won't see this but neither will their future progeny simply because they will no longer be around.
To people who are blind to the obvious I respond once and then no more.

Well, let's see.. We're going to have to get the oil to run our country from somewhere, and if not here, then I guess Saudi Arabia.. So which would you rather produce it? Us, that actually has the better track record for trying to keep everything clean and on the up-and-up so to speak, or them? Them being Saudi's main oil company, Aramco.. Aramco has led the list of companies with the highest level of CO2 emissions globally since 1995, being responsible for 1,707 million tonnes (1.680×109 long tons; 1.882×109 short tons) in 2013, amounting to almost 3.4% of worldwide anthropogenic emissions.(Wiki).. I think Alaska is throwing the baby out with the bath water on this decision.. 😖 Not to mention it's supporting a country with a really nasty human rights record.. But hey, if it gives you some sense of moral superiority,,,, pffft,, what ever.. 😒

. . . appeal in 3, 2, 1

But also for our side the appeals take time and there is no guarantee for an overturn. Also, another states rights issue.

@JackPedigo
. . . wrong
The article refers to Federal law and U. S. District Court Judge

@FearlessFly There is still an appeal process and this is about one state not the country.

@JackPedigo This is not a state case. It is a case about federal law.

@FearlessFly You sound like a conservative. Perhaps you should join us on the conservativeatheist group.

@Trajan61 . . . jumping to (wrong) conclusions much ? I'm a flaming liberal. That does not prevent me from challenging things that are factually wrong.

@FearlessFly, OOOUUCCHH @Trajan61 That's going to leave a mark.. 😄🤣😂 Don't feel bad, I was thinking the same thing.. 😁👍
