People die all the time. Two prominent people died today: ReneAuberjonois and Paul Volkers. I had just finished an audiobook by Preston/Child from their Agent Pendergast series and had thoroughly enjoyed Rene Auberjonois' reading of the novel. He had the smoothest, silkiest voice and represented New Orleans to me. I will miss his work.
Paul Volker used to give interviews on NPR as the chairman of the Federal Reserve in such clarity that actually had me listen, although finance at that level usually makes my eyes glaze over.
Oh well!
