Are you truely agnostic or an athiest in hiding? We havent even fully explored our own planet, yet many claim to have great knowledge. As an astromony fan I know there are more stars than there are grains of sand on every beach on the Earth.
I could not be an illogical atheist, there is too much overwhelming evidence that "something " of or with a cognition capability is or has been. This is not to say it falls into the stereotype of a modern God thingie defination. One error is that people use a stereotype defination for God thingies and it is a defination fallacy when evaluation of purported God thingies. As to Willy Wonka God or Harry Potter God, I would basically be agnostic.
And we, as a species and as a biological organism, will most likely never know more than an infinitesimal fraction of that before the planet and all of its living inhabitants are wiped out by some cataclysmic event Still, we have the drive to understand. What does that have to do with spirituality?
The 'drive to understand...'
I like it.
(Maybe that IS spirituality in a nutshell )
That drive is the force that comes from our individualand communal sentience. It is that self-awareness and that awareness of all that is aroundus that primal questions of "Who am I " and " Why am I here ". It took me the better part of my lifetime to discover my "answer #1", I AM, and accept it without further definition or restriction, that was the tricky part. I AM sentient brcause I'm sentient, that is aware. The first delineation of I AM came to my attention in th elemantary school class on ancient history, when I learned the phrase, "I THINK, THEREFORE I AM". I've been on that roller coster ever since.
"What does that have to do with spirituality?", what does spirituality have to do with anything?
