What if there was never religion in the world?
I guess there would be no Atheist or Agnostics now. What do you think the world would be like today if there was never any religion? I think we might be more enlightened and further advanced if all of the different religions in the world never existed. Humans would have focused more on other things instead of worshiping false gods. Would it be a more peaceful place?
Was it all about power and control? There will probably always be wars fought over power and control.

Read the lyrics of Imagine.

I would vote for John Lennon for God.

@gemini1947 he definitely would not like that.

@Mofo1953 I think very few people actually read the lyrics and get the full meaning of what Lennon was saying. That song is very anti-capitalist, anti-religious and basically revolutionary. However many people just take it as a feel good song about a kinder gentler world. I agree with Lennon's sentiments. "Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can"

@RMNODDING those who say it's just a feel good song are probably morons. Imagine is considered by critics as one of the best and most insightful songs ever. I agree with the critics.

It would be great even though there'd be no need for terms like atheist or agnostic. I think we'd be more respectful, creative, peaceful (hopefully lol) and hilarious.

I am not an Xer. There has never been religion in my life. I like to get other viewpoints on things. If you are not interested why bother to respond? There are a lot of other silly things on here.
