Maybe humans will devolve into distinct species. We have the sapiens, the thinking. What would we name the trumpian subspecies? Homo trumpist?

Anyone who still supports that asshole is automatically an idiot and the supporter of a criminal in my book . After I lose respect for someone , I am done .
End of next month I will visit a dear friend in Tampa who I know she still supports that asshole . I have already made clear that no politics talk . Or is gonna be another 3 yrs b4 she sees my face . Distance helps .

I have lost respect for a lot of people because of their support of #3. I’ve also had to unfriended several people (Mostly family) because of their hate speech to me. It’s a sad state of affairs and truly baffling that anyone with any sense supports such a horrible individual.

I see these people in a different way now and I am totally disgusted by them.

I'm not unfriending these people - for the time being I simply designate to not see anymore posts from the sites that they are sharing and that helps to defuse my anger without actually cutting them off completely. I hope that one day - after this trump reign of terror is finally over - most of those people will say (pretend) they just didn't know how bad he actually was. whatever.

I feel for you. My contact losses (duecto trumpism) have been mostly folks who were not very close to me. I have lost far more, who were close, to death, due to age, habits, and circumstance.

Such blindness to lack of morality causes traumatic alienation. It causes a kind of PTSD. I've experienced and struggled with that.
