I will always respect Romney for his vote on Impeachment. I am not religious but I respect anyone who is as long as they are not hypocrites. Romney has integrity and he may pay dearly for it in 4 years.

Romney is playing the long game, he is more popular in Utah than Joe Smith and they have already started running Mormon backed commercials praising him in Utah.

Yes, as long as he held tight to ‘his religion,’ all’s well back home

I agree, especially since 45's revenge is always such a wildcard. But I also suspect he's thinking of running against 45, and this was a way to appeal to the religious who aren't fond of Trump. Also, I wonder if he would have done it if it would have tied the vote?

High price but he's willing to pay, hopefully he retains office

Trump and his legion of hate will make Romney’s life miserable as long as the Orange Moron is President. Romney knew it when he made his statement, probably one of the hardest things he ever has done knowing the consequences.
