Well, thought I was having another stroke this morning. Rushed to ER. Was a little concerned to say the least, a friend posted on my Facebook page. Long story short, Reverend Chuck showed up to visit. I know him through his church, which is actively involved in human rights issues. Huge LGTB banner hangs on the church, and his literature openly states that everyone is welcome, personal beliefs notwithstanding. He asked if I wanted a prayer, sure, can't hurt. Gives me hope, if all Christians were like him the world would be a better place. Conclusion, it wasn't a stroke, something minor that mimics a stroke. Phew, one stroke is enough for one lifetime.

You might have helped to reinforce the irrational belief that prayer works. That is why I reject all forms of prayer in every situation.

I'm glad you're ok though.

It did work, social rituals are comforting. 🙂

Glad you dodged that! I agree about the reverend, but far too many are not that way, unfortunately.
