There are a number of NewUser(xxxx) accounts with high numbers of referrals, and large related points/levels. NewUser1300 is at a level 7 with no posts. This is additional evidence of absent administrators of the site. I'm about to remove my account if I don't get a response from an official admin soon. I'm annoyed that there was a poll about enhancements and bugs, resulting in some superficial changes, but shelf babies and broken policy claims persist.

Show us on the doll, where the intenet hurt you

I'm so sorry for you, that you have no appreciation for the security implications related to this situation. Have you ever played chess?

@ShawnHicks if you think you have privacy or autonomy here... ah well

Adios, and you were such a joy.

I doubt I've ever read one of your posts, so I can't say the same. I wish you could have as much interest in the security of the site as you have in me.

@ShawnHicks I have no real interest in either. 🙂

@Sticks48 Taking the time to comment would contradict that statement.

@ShawnHicks Oh God! I feel horrible!!! 🙂

Newuser could be test accounts created by @developer... If you want to leave over something like this, this community might not be the place for you...

I completely agree. If any service provider I choose demonstrates absence of management, I seek alternatives. It could be banking, automotive repair, restaurants, medical or government. I don't hesitate to point out opportunities for improvement where they impact my involvement or other patrons' experience. This post was intended to express dissatisfaction that might be repaired.

@ShawnHicks the majority of this site is run by members hosting groups... I'm a mod / host for about a dozen groups myself... Admin did this so they can spend time on the development of the site itself...

@Cutiebeauty I realize that, and for things that are part of the infrastructure an admin should be as responsive as a moderator would be for group related things. When I started using the internet, around 1990, there was a choice of news groups (nntp) or relay chat (irc), well before forum websites. Both had moderation for user content, but when something broke a server, you contact the admin. It could be related to connectivity, availability, latency or a number of other issues. The problems were rarely fixed by using the service's normal communications channel, and often required a phone call or email to resolve. I would normally be taking that route any time I saw something suspicious or malicious, in order to avoid signalling a party responsible for compromise of the system. Here I'm doing it in the open, because there are no functional alternatives. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, as it were.

@ShawnHicks you can send a pm directly to admin, cs10, or sitesupport... I suggest cs10...

@Cutiebeauty I've done that previously (to @admin, @cs10, @SiteSupport, and @developer), with no response to any of my communication. No acknowledgement to my message, or that the issue is being examined in any way. They might actually be working on it, but without communication in both directions, there's no way to know.

@ShawnHicks that's strange.. Cs10 always responds to any issues I have...

@ShawnHicks @Cutiebeauty Developers have been working on changes as you may have noticed. I do not have a full list of test accounts but we'll have them removed when completed.
