Whadda think? I'm considering moving in with my son & my ex. Scary shit! I mean, we didn't get along before. But maybe we're more mature! 😀

While I agree with the others to move with caution, I say it could work, depending. Only you and your family know all the details, but not having the same expectations as before may play a big factor. Good luck.

Yeah, I sure don't want to relive old experiences. But maybe time has mellowed us. 😬

@Atheist3 I know someone who has been living with her long time ex and some of their adult children. It is not a romantic relationship, it is just convenience and perhaps taking care of family. It works for them.

Can I get enough info to take out some life insurance on one or all of you? I'm always looking for a quick infusion of cash and this is a can't pass up opportunity..

I hear what yer saying! Hope springs eternal, but there is no hope.

Why would you do that to yourself? Some sort of masochistic torture fantasy? You could just put your testicles on the floor and say "stamp on these". I'm sure the pain would be a lot less drawn out.

Yeah, I hear ya! I've been married 3.5 x & the last thing that I need is some kinda pseudo situation.

Key words to consider in your post:
Scary
Shit
Maybe
And especially mature.
At your age, you should already be mature.. a long time ago...
I don't think you should do it unless it's purely for financial reasons... 😊

It would be mutually beneficial & that is why I'm considering it.

Be very cautious, visit and check out carefully could be a disaster . Why are you considering that

bobwjr Level 10 Feb 22, 2020

B/c the circumstances are such (I have to move) so I have few choices & little resources.

Maybe some extended visits first?

It's not like we haven't seen each other, we have a son.

Have any of you changed?

We may not have changed, but the times have.

Uuuuummmmm.........

I hear ya! Shouldn't that be a 'purrrrr'.

@Atheist3 Purrrrr indicates pleasure, & that ain't it here.
