So what does success mean to you. To me it means have I helped to make the world a happier place, that may seem a bit of a smug thing to say, but it is perhaps a better track than some even if not perfect. listen to someone much more articulate.

Success depends on the day. Some days it's as simple as going to bed without killing someone, some days it's relaxing, some days it's in a job well done (done being the key word), some days it's discovering something new.
I've never equated success with accumulating money, only that I've been successful in getting a tiny bit.

@1of5 , so interesting. I guess I am the opposite. Money bought financial freedom.
Success is financial independence..... once I have that I can self actualize......but I imagine some are able to pursue both simultaneously. I never could. It was hard enough to stay employed, keep food on the table and pay the mortgage and their college.
