Its just on a loop of the same old crap

I'm still on it, and it serves my purposes - which are to keep in touch with, and follow lives of, a bunch of folks from my past and present, that I might have lost touch with otherwise. I've reconnected with some folks that are special to me too. I'm able to keep up on local theater doings and auditons, share all sorts of animal-y things with my other animal-y people, and keep up with environmental issues locally, that enable me to partake in possible solurions.
The key is knowing when to scroll on past some of the nonsense, and take breaks if there's too much downer stuff.
But I totally get some folks having had quite enough ! Whatever works for ya.

I left facebook about a year ago.
I don't need yet another thing in my life that pushes agenda.

I sincerely hope this site doesn't become an alternative - we don't want all those assholes coming here and ruining it!

I don't know about an alternative, but I am for the most part done with Facebook. I haven't deleted my account, because I have a few old friends and family members that still contact me through it. I am really rarely on there anymore.

I think there is such a thing as "too bigt", and Facebook is a prime example of it. They hyave grown to a point where not much on there is really actually relevant to me, Also all the ads don't really help. I got really angry when they started puttign ads on my timeline.

I mjuch prefer this site.

I still use face ache and find it usefull. Like most things on the interweb its how you use it

Since they introduced the group thing that's when it all started now it's just people arguing over stuff and not just people getting to know each other . Something new will come along sooner or later it always does
