I have noticed that I belong to yet another wacky minority - atheists who were raised by atheist parents. Many escapees from high demand groups can debate their book (King James Bible, New World Translation, Book of Mormon, Dianetics) with believers and point out inconsistencies.
I have read enough of each to say none of it makes any sense to me. Sometimes I struggle not to blurt out thoughts like "that's a fairy tale"........

@PondartIncbendog @Hollowfarm you both were fortunate, you did not to unlearn all this shit or deal with hysterical parent who thought screaming at you and assaulting you would save you from burning in hell.

My Dad; Religion is the biggest hoax perpetrated on the human race.

And if I did believe in Gods, It would be Thor. He smacks ya with that hammer and the story is over.

I was raised by atheist parents also. I have a hard time understanding this god worshipping nonsense.
I've dealt with it all my life and paid the price. I don't pray to aliens either.........well, maybe R2d2
