Why do women have to enhance themselves to appeal to men....I was married for 20 years to a woman that sold cosmetics for avon but hated makeup and still was gorgeous without it..... just curious...

People - and not just women - have been enhancing how they look since the dawn of civilization. I believe that humans discovered how much fun it was to decorate our selves in artistic ways very early in our history, and it evolved along with us because we enjoyed it and like how it looked. We know for sure that some ancient asians, africans, and egyptians did it.

Appeal to men? We don't need makeup to appeal to men ! Men are dogs.... They are all about sex and will have sex with any woman !

How's that for a stereotype? 😋😜😊😒😒

Actually, I only use lip gloss, I don't like makeup...

What a strange idea you have about why women wear makeup. It’s a choice some of us make because it makes us feel good, a morale booster if you like. I don’t wear makeup because I think it will make me more attractive to men, I’m not looking to attract a new partner, I wear it to please myself in the same way I like to style my hair in a flattering style, or choose clothes that suit my personality and figure. It’s a big mistake that a lot of men seem to make, they think that everything that women do is designed with them in mind...not so.

What makes you think women enhance themselves to appeal to men? Newsflash. It's not about you. Women enhance their appearance for a bloody lot of reasons that have nothing to do with men. A friend of mine would occasionally come to work really made up. When I commented on it she said she did that on days she felt like crap. Looking good gave her an emotional boost, and that's only one example. What about you? Don't you take some pride in your appearance and dress up at times to feel confident or good? It's the over the top cosmetic surgery, the boob and butt jobs that I think are problematic.

A man who understands us...top marks!

@Marionville 😂😂 it took me long enough..
