Life is only so long, the end happens to everyone eventually. You can only care so much about the world and if you take action, the best protest ever is to be self-sustaining and strengthen local economies with clean food and water. To be prepared is to live your life with the connection to a minimum of clean basic resources, and have the knowledge to live off the grid when the time comes if it does. Dang, it's not easy to build that kind of life, yet it is exciting to me to imagine fueling the knowledge with real life actions, and hoping to meet a similar soul to spend the time with doing so.

Things tend to be cyclical in us history. The extremes of Bush got us Obama,man do we miss having a thinker behind the desk. Likely the chaos that is the trump will correct itself in november. That's politics. There won't be any changes in the constitution. The ignorance of denial of scientific truths and facts is the only threat I see.As n.Tyson says,you have a right to your own opinion but not your own facts.

Spot on its scary and unfourtuanly some of these things may not be stopped.

I think all we are witnessing is business as usual, meaning things don’t happen by accident, but by design. Time to rid ourselves of illusions and cast away our dreams.

I don't know if it "the end" but I do believe we have to admit that the world's "super powers" are no longer who we thought they were. It's possibly the end if democracy as we know it
