How does someone create an atheist wedding. I was raised baptist but I am now atheist so I only know what a religious wedding is like. My husband and I are legally married only because he was getting deployed. But we want to have a real wedding ceremony but don’t want religion in it at all.

I also am ordained by Universal Life Church Ministries. Easy online. I was hoping to marry all my gay friends, but that hasn't happened yet. A dear friend was turned down by another minister and I offered. It was a shock to her that I was ordained! Lemme tell you--Universal Life is not picky.
Even though she is a recognized author, she wanted me to write the ceremony. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony with all of their family and friends...fabulous catering and music. I had not planned on planning a wedding, but because I had been to many, and researching online, it all fell into place. Looked just like a traditional ceremony except for the words.
Want a big beautiful secular wedding? Plenty of officiants out there.

If you come to Florida I checked with the state and can legally marry you, I am ordained by Universal Life Church Ministries. I got ordained because I wanted to fly the couple above 5000 ft., marry them and let them join the "Mile High Club", seriously. Didn't have the money to get a bigger plane though
