Sweet-n-Salty
There isn't any ocean deep enough to hold my love for you,
And there's no medicine that's strong enough to cure my case of blue.
I'm munchin' sweet-n-salty peanuts from a bowl that's always free,
And I am sippin' sour sauce, a swill that buys the worst of me.
I'd like to give the ones I love both diamond rings and marble halls.
But life's a bitch; I gave my best, just concrete floors and gypsum walls.
I will not sell my soul to keep a pretty wife within my nooks.
I'll not con the food from hapless babes as do the mighty rooks.
There isn't any ocean deep enough to hold my love for you,
And there's no medicine that's strong enough to cure my case of blue.
