Should people be criminally charged or sued if they have coronavirus and still leave home?
Intent is everything, deliberately infecting another with intent to do harm is criminal offense, infecting others without your own knowledge or genuinely in ignorance of your status is more of a civil offense and should be punished accordingly.

Yes, I agree. Intent to harm is common denominator here. I think you are also -IMHO- suggesting people become responsible for getting tested (once those are easily accessible) and being aware of their condition. It would be negligence!
@LaDizdeOdd once testing is widely available free of charge, choosing not to be tested would be criminal negligence
Perhaps not jail, though a good fine would not be bad.
But on the other hand. The racists who planned to deliberately infect surfaces in areas used other by minorities, are undoubtedly guilty of attempted murder. So throw the book at them, as they say.

They are rushing legislation through in aussie at the moment to make it a $20,000 fine if you violate quarantine and I'm sure they'll make an example of some.

Some fool in Missouri I think, tested positive, and took his daughter to a school dance. An idiot like him should die and help kill out the stupid, and selfish, genes.
@Bushshaker I know some fool took his daughter to the dance. It's the state I'm not sure of!
@Lorajay that is what I was thinking too
No, especially Kkkristians going to turch or Redhats going to Drump rallies...

how about organise a Trump rally with free junk food and beer for all, herd them all in, then seal the doors, cover the whole building in fast setting concrete and then go home.
@LenHazell53 nah, that's way too much work, and a good chance they'll breed..
@Charlene only if they eat one another.
@LenHazell53 the err you'll dig under it, like all rodents do..
