People tell me in so many ways that kindness is for suckers. They are victims of abuse spreading the same through revenge.

Kindness is never a sign of weakness, only completely messed up individuals think it is. I acknowledge many people are damaged and seek revenge by being nasty and mean to others, but it is completely counterproductive. They may think they are getting revenge on whoever mistreated them, but in fact they are inflicting more pain on themselves in the process. Kindness costs us nothing, and one kind word or smile, either given or received, can make us feel better, as well as uplifting others.

@Fred_Snerd The constant pain can in itself be addictive.
I don't advocate 'grumpy', but I often contend that 'polite' is way overrated.
