I've just realized that my clumsy finger accidentally goes over other members' profile images and becomes recorded as "hovered". Sorry, folks. I'm not a stalker! 😂

I do that a lot too. It is good to see who is posting or messaging. I notice that a lot of profiles that don't have much info in them get messages from others saying to put up some info. Hovers happen a lot by accident too. If I were a real stalker I would turn that feature off. No one knows how many of them there are on here checking us out and we don't know it. I have made several by accident just making this comment. I get a lot of hovers and not many visits, mostly from men. Do the women not hover or view or do they have it turned off. I hover on most posts and comments. I like to know who is making them.

Sometimes they come up when just moving past a member. Then it stays and I have trouble getting it to go away.

I can appreciate that comment. Happens to me often. I wrote them about it, asking how to "turn hovering" off. They basically said it can't be done at this time. I mean... to navigate the cursor, it's easily to accidentally hover over someone. Gives a very false impression...

I’m sure that’s not a problem! 😂

Turn it off under settings.

Help me out here, @Sticks48.
Does that come under guise of the question: "Don't let others know I viewed their profile"?

@Santanaman9 No. There is a seperate switch to turn off hovering. I don't know if the "don't let them know switch would do both.

I always wondered what would you want from me? 🙂 🙂

It's not like you are going to show up on my doorstep. Most people that have been around for a while understand that people check out other people not just for dating, but also to check on background before replying or ignoring.

@Jetty Your picture gives me a creepy feeling....I suppose you think you're a dog?

I’d done the same! ...someone described a way of disabling that function. I did, so no longer appear to be inappropriately checking out guys or (too) young women 😀

That happens to me all the time, too (plus, my mouse "drifts" ). You can turn it off, or just trust that most people are good-natured about it.

Are you insulting mice? That really burns me.........

@PondartIncbendog I wasn't insulting mice, so don't be burned. I'm perfectly happy to let it wander about at it's own discretion.

@Lauren Free the Mice!!!
