Some very hopeful news. I will note that it is very preliminary and not something you would want to bet your life on, but at least it is hopeful. Please read this letter from a doctor in NY about a protocol he is using to successfully treat COVID-19:

Interesting in that I note the real help comes from Zinc. Some time ago I learned Zinc helps in the absorption of Calcium so started a regime of Calcium-Magnesium-Zinc supplements.
Recently had a hair density test done to see the mineral content of my body. Looking at the Zinc line I see 190ug/g and the normal range is 130-200. Thanks for this so now I learned something.

Actually the French test did not use zinc and still got amazing results.

@mcgeo52 This is where I got my statement: "We know that hydroxychloroquine helps Zinc enter the cell. We know that Zinc slows viral replication within the cell."

"Many experts have said they believe they are relatively safe, although hydroxychloroquine can cause dangerous heart problems and some specialists recommend electrocardiogram screening tests, especially when used in combination with azithromycin. The Mayo Clinic issued a warning Wednesday that doctors need to determine which patients are at risk of potentially fatal arrhythmia before they prescribe the drugs."

"The drugs also can cause permanent eye damage called retinopathy that can lead to vision loss and blindness."

There isn't anything in the article stating which patients are at risk for retinopathy.

The list of medications advised to not use in conjunction with hydroxychloroquine is quite long, as is the list of contra-indicated conditions. The letter from this doctor reads as though he's not doing any screening for these factors or the advised electrocardiograms.

@Allamanda The problem is this doctor in particular. He started doing this on his own, well before Gov Cuomo put it in place. There's no indication that he's using any protocols.

That is hope ful. Again it appears there should be no delay in treatment when symptoms appear. I hope cc ing trump and his staff does not cause a delay in vital information or the hoarding of meds by this administration. I really do not like bringing up facts that appear to some to be raining on the parade but damn we have over 3 years of direct evidence that it is all about him, protecting those around him and the very wealthy.
