This chart made me think about how in the last 40-50 years, Libertarian-inspired propaganda — also called news — has increasingly shaken the confidence people have in both government and government agencies. This in the country that has taken the Austrian school of economics thinking further than most other countries and allowed the Chicago School of Economics beliefs in Neoliberalism to have undue influence. Has this resulted in the worst healthcare response to a crisis in the world? The USA got to the number 1 spot sooner —ie faster — than every other country INCLUDING where the virus originated.

Some people tell me that they cannot be bothered with politics but does this chart show the problem with that attitude?
