When you are worried about saving yourself from your hell, how can you in reality be aware of others fears unless they are the same as yours!!!

Some yes, some no.

Doubt it, good people do good things regardless of their ideology.

What about you? Why do you do good things?

I am guessing that no one has put the "fear of god " in you lol and It makes me think of that well used phrase... "he's a god fearing man."

@AmmaRE007 Ha ha no only my mum but she is neither a jealous or vengeful god!😉

Do you mean” their soul“ or is it an intentional spelling mistake?

I read it to mean from the pet Dover Sole. I am obviously mistaken.

I believe it just varies from individual to individual. Some individuals do good things out of that fear while others do it because they feel it is a religous or spiritual duty and other people are really genuinely good people who happen to be religious.

Not exactly, no. Many of them may refrain from doing BAD things due to such a fear (though many of them do bad things anyway...)

But good is more than just the absence of bad. And many of them do some very good things. Some of them might just be trying to score brownie points, but I think that usually the motivation is more complicated than that.

The ones who I know and think favorably of seem to be motivated by the idea that they should do good, because God is good, and goodness is what he expects of them. The reward, if any, seems to be secondary. These are generally pro-social people who also happen to think that God is pleased by what they are doing.
