New here- just joined so apologies if this has been addressed before but I get so sick of everyone assuming everyone is Christian. Whenever someone wishes me Happy Easter I respond "well I'm not a Christian, but I appreciate the good wishes."

I do not get sick of it at all .When people wish you a happy Easter they are probably not even thinking of the religious connotations connected to it .

If the Easter bunny says happy Easter he probably says the same thing LOL
It reminds me that “Easter” is taken from the Teutonic goddess of fertility and spring – Eostre, hence oestrus, though I guess many Christians conveniently forget that aspect.

How about this one.
In my dreams I always see Jesus holding the Easter Bunny and the Bunny has his basket. They are both waving at me.
Most likely they will comment on how weird you are and you can then cut loose on them with enough facts to make any believer cry.
