Bill had a great show...again...last night. But...amazingly....

Bill Maher sides with Trump on naming the virus "the Chinese Virus"

"You can't yell at someone for breaking a rule you just made up"....it's NOT xenophobic to name this virus the Chinese Virus. Every major pandemic virus named its' source in its name.....

That was not “siding with trump” - that was telling it like it is.

Sure wish I’d have found a way to follow his stuff years ago … instead of allowing ultra-liberal ‘friends’ to dissuade me due to his lack of ‘political correctness.’ It’s China 19 to me.

Bill's not afraid to side with Trump on the rare occasions that he makes sense.

His point was that there's too many viruses still coming from China...and despite the alleged "racism" of calling it a 'Cheese virus" - most - if not all - viruses were named based on where they came from. China needs - for the sake of humanity's survival - to clean up their act.

....and BTW; many - if not all - of his shows and interviews are still on Youtube. Pick a famous person, type his/her name, then Bill Maher, then video in your search tool...(google?) and you'll see what I mean

@Robecology It’s not siding with trump, trump’s emphasis on China is an agenda, Bill was just being honest. Agree totally with your description of China’s role and responsibility for this one..

I watch a lot of YouTube, but it’s weird to look back on someone being right, if politically incorrect ... after the new paradigm of the trump presidency and China 19. It’s like we’re starting anew 😕

@Varn HIis interviews last night were eye-opening...and to your point....it is like we're starting anew. If you haven't seen the whole show, here's a (relatively rare) full one hour version from Youtube...and if you want to go to -IMO - the most eye-opening interview; slide the bar to the 22 minute line and watch his chat with Ian Bremmer.
