It's only human nature to demonize the opponents of people you want to support. Bernie offered us all a chance at a much better America and his supporters went into overdrive on the demonizing effort.

Our biggest enemies were smart enough to help with that demonizing and will continue to do so because it worked last time.

I can't stand trump and feel like he is a mob boss, abuser and greedy maniac. I'm sure his demonization was warranted but my experience tells me, today"s media sensationalizes every breath famous people take and at the same directs our searches toward our analized political preferences.

The best help we can give our democracy is to start lauding the good things about the candidates we want to support instead of demonizing their opponents. I hope I can follow my own advice but I doubt it.

Please do ...and that was brilliant ~

I can't see Biden moving toward a progressive agenda. A lot of young women think he's at best creepy, at worst a sex offender. His lying about walking in Selma with MLK Jr was weird, and other stories changed each time he told it. It reminds me of Trump. I would still vote for him, and it is disappointing the DNC is all about the status quo.

@twshield It may sound that way to you, I just can't pretend I am voting for someone who will do much. I will vote for whatever Dem is nominated.

You prefer a out and out creep like trump

@twshield yep, my sentiments exactly

The damage Bernie has caused to the Party cannot be undone. Biden and the Party are fully aware of the agony Bernie's stupidity has caused.

People are waiting for Elizabeth Warren who is Obama's preference if he were to recommend.

Warren was my choice of the announced batch, until she realized she could only peel women from the bernie bunch.. I’d say Bernie's damage ‘this time around’ was having scared off better known moderates. I wonder if they assumed he’d lose … and if there were anything left of the nation in four more years, run then..?

Bernard’s first run gave us trump, hope his second doesn't, too. Gotta hand it to those Militaristic Republicans - they’ve learned to vote strategic ...even against (most) their best interests.. Fuckin cat herding over here 😕

I hope this will sway Bernie supporters.

Me too. I explained to my kids, the biggest asshole ever elected has to.go or they have no chance but to live in a 3rd world country where big powerful people/corporations rape the lands and there are the rich and the poor. Like the 2012 movie Upside Down.
