True... but far easier said than done. People are fearful and some of us more so than others. And fear isn't always a singular defined idea that can be easily summed up but rather an elusive and mercurial feeling.

Also, a certain amount of fear is good, useful, and rational. There's the old adage "Fools rush in where wise men fear to tread".
