Georgia's governor, Brian Kemp, is being deliberately, criminally negligent.
Just wait. Covid19 cases in the state will explode within the next few weeks.

This is what happens when you've got a republican hack, whose lips are firmly planted on 45's ass.

People are going to die because of this bullshit.

And yes, common sense would say that it is criminally negligent.

Anyone else stunned that we have survived as a species with so many being dropped on their heads as babies?

I'm going to have to go outside the property lines, at some point.
I already have enough shit to deal with.

@KKGator There's always a good person in the line of fire. Be well. I'm guessing another two months.

Southern Georgia already has widespread virus. The John's hopkins website has a density map by county. Rural southern ga has between 550/ 100000 and 2200/ 100000. These rates are higher than the New York counties. By comparison where I live wake county North Carolina is at 55 cases per 100000 population. Georgia will be a bloodbath.

And it won't be the rich people that die.

I know. That's where I am. It's been almost two months since I've left the property.
As much as I'm climbing the walls, I'm not going anywhere. Especially now.

By this time next month, there will be fewer to count in the census.

Can't say I can even begin to understand what the hell is happening to our country. It's clear what happens when groups of people are in close contact with someone infected with COVID-19 and showing no symptoms. Lots of people get sick. Businesses in my area are planning to open gradually over the next 2 weeks. The state may have a dem for governor but here in my county it is very republican. From the few times I've had to go to the store I am not seeing a lot of people with masks on. The older people and store clerks but lots of younger people with no masks.
Stay safe and now I have a reason to tell people, Just stay the fuck away from me!! 🙂

Seems to be true here as well. The co-op store only takes orders and people are supposed to pick them up in designated times. There is a large, slanted platform outside and all the clerks have masks. The local market now have shields between the clerks and customers and some have masks and some don't. The other day I wanted to check out an isle but saw the butcher talking to a customer (both sans masks and standing within the 6 foot zone) so I had to go down another aisle. The store has painted lines on the floor with messages to stand behind the lines when another is at the counter.

Thing is, we still only have the one case and she was from the outside who came here to hibernate but brought it with her. The other 2 islands, especially Orcas, have several more.

I actually have started wearing a mask and cap. It is pollen season and I do get affected. Don't want any pollen or virus in my hair (which is getting longer due to the closing of the barber shop).

@JackPedigo I hear on the pollen allergy season starting up. The yellow pine pollen will be bursting forth in the upper county, when I lived there (CleElum) everything would be covered in a thick coating of pollen. Down here in Ellensburg I don't get stuffy until the first hay cutting. I purchsed an electronic air cleaner, it has a sleep mode so it's pretty quiet for sleeping. What a HUGE difference when I wake in the morning. It's a VREMI.

@silverotter11 Good to hear. VREM I should look it up. I don't seem to have a problem inside. Also, Nettle pills are a natural anti-histamine and work well. Al I need to do is look at the windows on my truck to see the presence of pollen.
One funny issue I have with this is I have to shut off the rain pipes from the roof to the tanks. Pollen in the water tanks can cause problems.

Natural selection

While that's a lovely concept, I'd really rather not have some stupid moron's deliberate ignorance cause the illness and/or death of anyone I care about.
Especially mine.

As usual.. it will spread beyond the deserving … to those not having voted for the Kissass. Wish we could airlift them to Idiot Island … maybe send them on The Viral Boat -- Maralago’s not far! How bout that becomes a makeshift Hospital, Morgue & Cemetery for the New Confederacy…

Exactly people, NOT people called Kemp. One has to differentiate

Sadly, I can only watch it unfold from the safety of my home. No politician can force us to risk ourselves.

Humanity blows its chances at survival over, and over, and over again.

Won't it be great when they get held to account for thier actions! Prison terms, huge fines, the occasional execution of the most nefarious.....oh, sorry, I drifted for a bit there.

Yeah, it sucks. Kinda a shame this is such a rare event - we'd handle it much, much better I think if one of these roles around every 30 years or so. Sure more would die, by at least stupidity wouldn't be such a contributing factor in thier demise.
