My JW older brother had a huge telescope, personally I felt he wasn't looking for stars but for heaven and his heavenly father but he had serious daddy issues.

I avoid arguing theology or apologetics completely. Theology is just a particular religious opinion. It fails when said god can not be proven, so I just stick with that.

Aplogetics simpky should not exist as they are defending an indefenceable god. If god wanted me to know things I could not trust any middle man. A god that could not teach me the things god wanted me to know is not worthy of beimg called a god. Again I simply stick with the idea that apologetics fail in concept. I recently made a video about it.

We don't argue theology here, we discuss it in a civilized way as a minor side interest. Because we are sane, pleasant, humane and polite.

Then when we are let loose on the religious, we know our stuff, and can argue the hell out of them, because we are very nasty people in league with the devil.

Being right all the time is easy, you simply learn to keep your mouth shut until you are certain of your facts.
