The US is not the worst-hit nation in the world, except in sheer numbers. In terms of cases per million, we are among the worst, but in deaths per million we are nowhere near the worst.
For comparison purposes it would seem more reasonable to look at deaths per million, because it’s hard to mistake a death. Cases reported are an unreliable statistic that depends on who gets tested and how many are tested.
I am slightly skeptical of that 36,000 figure,

@sassygirl3869 I went to local grocery this AM and I could spot EVERY Don-Jon supporter -- NONE were wearing masks! I wanted to go up to them, pull down my mask and cough in their face. I was so mad
