I got my mail in ballot to vote last week and it has the ballot with 2 other envelopes, and a letter. I added photos of ballot, envelope you have to put ballot in with instructions on one side and youCheck Democrat or Republican on ither side. I get a Democrat ballot since registered Dem. Then I have to put ballot in yellow envelope where I checked Dem in the blue window envelope to mail or I bring to office down the hall from my office. I have heard them ask for ID to match signature when you turn it in. I have never showed ID before as they have my name and signature I sign below, when I vote at the polls.
Now my director snd I had our panties in a wad, thinking WTF is this about, having our envelope marked Democrat.
If we deviate from instructions I fell it will end up in their circular file but then there are only a handful of us among Trump loving social service employees, let alone the other folks in the county, it seems weird to the 2 of us. Going to ask the other 2.dems in office what they think.
Has everyone else seen this? First mail in for me. Did I catch Trump paranoia that my bote won't be counted?
I agree weird. And concerning due to the “redness” of where you live. Altho, it could be due the fact that you can only vote for Democrats in the primary, if you’re a registered dem. I think my PA ballot only had dems, including Bernie. This is also my 1st time voting by mail.
Bernie is on mine and Biden. But I only get the Dem ballot and Republican's only get Republican ballot. My friend took it to election board and was told we have to check it to be sure we were sent the right ballot. So if this is so I assume the ballots in November won't need to be checked off to identify my party.
Asking for an I.D. to be able to turn in a ballet (which is marked democrat) does not give the voter a right of privacy to cast their vote. I wonder if that might encourage corrupt actions by those in charge of collecting ballots. Seems like corruption could get into that type of voting process.
That is what I thought. Why have that. I wouldn't think a out it if for the first few years I lived here there were no Dems on ballots, when local elections. But if it was reversed and a Dem county I think Republicans could be concerned.
Also, they don't in person.they ha e compared my signature for almost 18 years with the signature I signed on voter registration form.
