Study shows the most important thing in a man's life is success in his job and feeling good about it. But I haven't had a "job" since 1970. Ever since then I was self-employed, which meant I had the world's worst boss. Downhill from that is health, income, age, and relationship status. Boy, am I screwed up. I do not give a damn about any kind of employment. Yeah, health is important but age isn't. For me, relationship status and health are at the top. And having no debt is way up there, too. Employment it is for me. Never thought about not working and now I'm lost. Confidence and self-esteem all tied to my job apparently.

After I was laid off a couple times, I realized I can't really depend on a job working for somebody else.
