@Admin Would it not be possible to adapt the 'Group' format to a personal one and add that to the profile page? In theory I could create a 'GothRik' group, but that would be just too egotistical

A night view filter would be nice, as the pages on this app can get rather bright.

Only if you're here for dating. Otherwise, I don't think it's necessary.

I just want to be able to press the like button on my own post or comment to see who all liked it.

@admin Perhaps an alternative would be to have the features but make them optional (i.e. turn on commenting, turn on "likes" or leave them turned off if one so chooses)

I already get private messages on my profile pictures and my bio. I don't want to answer anymore questions on my bio.

Some people write very witty bios/profiles. We can see who has visited our profile pages, yes. Having a little thumb or ability to comment and say "I appreciate your wit or your adventures or your ecclectic taste in music or all your awesome pictures" doesn't seem like it would be the end of the world. Everybody would, of course, be free to just ignore and keep scrolling by.

I don't like to send private messages to anybody unless I already have a bit of trust and safety with regard to them. So I would probably not comment in a private message to somebody about their bio. If I wrote something on their bio page, they could keep it or delete it. If nobody else wanted to see it, they would, of course, be free to just scroll on by.

I shared what I'm comfortable with sharing in my profile. If I were to get to know someone through private messaging or off site conversation, I would feel more comfortable revealing more, but not to everyone who happens by this site.

I looked at your profile and I am impressed by the interesting places you have visited.

Not a bad idea but we have recent visitors which tells you who has looked at your profile so A is covered. As far as B goes thats when messaging should be used. Has worked well for us in past. Some people are uncomfortable with questions and messaging gives you a chance to ask them privately and confidentially. If they were on the profile for all to see its an invasion of privacy.

@admin these are not bad ideas, having comments on the profiles is good, but I think they should be private conversations much like that exist for User to Admin interaction.

Agree on all counts. The profile and I suspect you mean including 'bio' offers the best way to introduce ouselves and assist those 'screening' for possible friendship and even more typical, relationship possibilites.

Likes I agree with. Not comments, unless they are hidden, or won't appear until approved. I have a privacy jones going on.
