Leave it to livescience.com to publish untested and untestable hypotheses. Ditto for sdss.org.

it's not bs to report observations and think out loud about looking billions of years into the "past"... Einstein postulated before there were good enough solar telescopes to test and PROVE his theory correct.... imagine how much more we can observe and prove once we built habitats and observatories on the moon, asteroids and Mars ???? Hubble and the ISS are tiny habitats and hardly colonies to live scientifically and symbiotically in efficient and sustainable enclosed biospheres .... it will take centuries to build/rebuild an atmosphere on Mars as Sagan discussed

@GreenAtheist

Habitats and observatories on the moon, asteroids and Mars, and atmospheres on Mars are science fiction. Science requires evidence.

BTW, Einstein wasn’t a scientist; he was a mathematician.

The Big Bang is not science; it’s mathematics. Georges LeMaitre wanted to support the Genesis story and wrote some mathematics to do it.
