Just the opposite. I still hate the foods I hated back then - pickles, beets, anything with vinegar.

My dad was a decent cook but everything was cooked to death & loaded with grease. My mother would fuck up the recipe for ice. The foods from my childhood either got left behind or got a recipe makeover. & now that i have to avoid gluten, even more have been left behind.

I used to eat poorly and never ate much healthy food. As part of a lifestyle change, I started eating much better, veggies, fish, etc, food I never ate much. It's all in the spices and cooking method. Many combinations available to make healthy tasty meals.

Nope. I still hate eggplant.

@Akfishlady Plus you get the seeds.

I can still remember the first time I ever ate an olive, and how disgusted at the flavour and incredulous that anyone could possibly enjoy eating such a thing I was. Maybe ten years later, I tried another olive - and now, I'd be perfectly happy if all food tasted like olives.

I've never liked any kind of seafoed. Every few years I'll try some fish because everyone else seems to think it's awesome. Still isn't for me.

Broccoli is like that for me. I’ve heard taste buds change over time but don’t know if it’s true or not.

Cilantro for me.

My tastes havent changed much from my childhood. I loved rum then and I still love rum now! I will say that although I still don't like unions raw I love to cook with them as an adult.

Spring greens, hated them for years and years and now....yummy. I think it's a combination of advancing years and a decreasing sense of taste 🙂

I eat broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, and brussel sprouts now. I still don't like spinach, though.

Spinach was the only vegetable I liked when i was a kid - I still like it now, but there are others I like too these days.

Always..like asparagus...or gin.

Same, especially spinach and avocado

Ditto! Mm Mmmgh!

I got sick on canned beets as a child--maybe I liked them too much. However, years later, I enjoy them occasionally.

Yeah I eat broccoli after not eating it for 41 years. There's loads of reasons when you are a kid for being fussy but I can't remember them at the mo
