I was 16 the first time I played disc golf. I have sat it down and picked it up a few times over the years. Most years I played rather habitually and kind of seriously for a few. that was a long time ago though. now it's just a good way to get out and stretch and enjoy the sunshine.
if you feel like it, share your pastimes...
I've played this once! It's apparent to me that I have never learned how to throw a Frisbee, disc or whatever you want to call it. It was rather frustrating to me... maybe because it was a blistering hot day. (I never have seen so much control over a disc before. Those folks are wicked!)
Frisbee golf? They call it disc golf. Is that a legal thing or are those discs different? I've never heard of this as a true sport to be honest.
either way. disc golfers ain't too uptight about what you call it. they're not to uptight about what everybody else thinks. the discs have become different. when I first started playing we threw just regular wham-os. the technology changed. the disc nowadays is faster farther and not made to play catch with, though some will at some risk. lolol. it's as much a sport as Ball golf is. really don't matter much it's a whole hell of a lot of fun.
