Personally, I believe that there is still extensive racism in this country (the U.S.). Given that, I don' feel any guilt for being white. I won't feel bad for something I had no control over.
I saw nothing in the video that mentioned being "anti-white". Being anti- any race is racist. People of any race, color, or ethnicity can be racist. I think most people are at least a little bit unconsciously racist and that's not likely to ever change because people typically prefer to be around others who are similar to themselves in regards to race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religious views, political views, etc.
As for BLM protesting... I think for the most part its a good thing, but anything taken to extreme can be harmful. Much of the protesting spawned from police violence/murder of black people which is criminal and unjust and a clear sign of problems that need correcting.
These are all very complicated issues that will not be easily or quickly resolved. Some of these problems will takes years, decades, and generations to begin to fix.
White privilege is real. Stossel is well known for spewing right-wing propaganda! 3 things and "You will not be poor."? I did all three and I still qualify for HEAP. BLM are not saying that blacks are better than whites! However, the message of white supremacists is that whites are better than all other races.
Actually blacks, with their actions, are saying that blacks are better then whites because their lives matter more than anyone else. By this, they are no better than the white supremacists.
Is it racist to want to even up the opportunities for everybody. White privilege has been the order of business in this country for 400 years. To want to level the playing field is not racist, it is the move toward the realization of equality finally. To take an unfair and unearned advantage from ne group in order spread out the opportunities is not racist, its good business sense.
Good points. Where is that happening? The BLM and Antifa movements are not doing that.
First off, Antifa is an umbrella term of several uncoordinated, unaffiliated left wing groups. There is no one cohesive, centrally organized group known as Antifa (as per Bill Barr at his Congressional hearing).
Second there is a social movement, which includes BLM, the umbrella Antifa and others that are beginning to impact the way that people of color are seen. It has been going on for quite a while as can be seen with the number of strong, black female candidates that are holding office presently, or have recently held office. The killing of George Flydy just temporarily galvanized the movement and brought in peoples of non-color. The number of supporters (not all of them were along for the shits and giggles) of non-color that gave their voice to the movement is indicative of a social current that is changing in the country.
Paradigm shifts take time. The tipping point can come quickly (like the killing of George Floyd), but the actual change takes a while to realize.
First, i do not believe him and his spiel. Second, she is an alt-right "accidental political commentator" (see pic below, it comes from her personal website). This is rather an insult to real commentators. She has a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology,
Her claim to fame is going to a trump rally and writing about it. I do not find her credible and rather a sensationalist as opposed to a serious commentator.
Christopher Rufo, taken from: (he too is a sensationalist):
"In the screenshot above, The Seattle Times establishes that while addiction and mental health are significant issues, the one thing in common between all homelessness people is poverty. This runs contrary to the story Rufo has been trying to push for years, that in fact we don’t need more resources to address homelessness, we just need to re-establish the bonds between families, churches, and communities (Rufo is a fellow at Discovery Institute, a creationist think-tank, in case you’re curious where this all stems from). So in an attempt to salvage his absurd claims, he decides to apply his amazing skills as a statistical analyst and prove to us once and for all that we can solve the homelessness crisis without addressing poverty."
"That Rufo doesn’t understand this very basic definition, or its inadequacy here in explaining the link between poverty and homelessness, is disqualifying and shows not just that Rufo shouldn’t be taken seriously, but that he shouldn’t be taking part in the conversation at all. This is a pattern for Rufo, who trotted out similarly ridiculous statistics on KUOW last week without being challenged, and who published a faux-academic paper on homelessness that is laughably sourced from start to finish. In short, Christopher Rufo is an idiot and if you take him seriously then you are also an idiot."
This is what I think of them. Check your sources next time, please.
Depends on what you mean by anti white... Seems like you mean BLM..
