They can run. But they can't hide.

Must be nice

@Fred_Snerd

As always, the wealthy have it easy and the poor are left to fend for themselves.

@Fred_Snerd

Exactly

They'll pack us into petri dishes while they go off to safe areas and live in luxury.

@Fred_Snerd

Tell me more about this game

@Fred_Snerd

Yeah, I was referring to the game the citizens play.

I know about the 2 party game of the government plays. Competition for titles and the league, that was a good way to put it.

So, I think what you mean is that people are divided into tribes based on party affiliation, ethnicity, and that sort of thing. And it's terrible because it divides us and keeps us in conflict so we don't focus on the true struggle, the competition between the working class and the owner class.

@Fred_Snerd

And when you drop out, do you think those same struggles won't crop up again?

@Fred_Snerd

Sounds like an unobtainable utopia to me but I sure hope you're right. That would be wonderful.

So how would a society function with no leaders at all? Hive mind mentality?

@Fred_Snerd

I've visited one. They claim to have no leaders. But in actuality, they have unofficial leaders.

When humans form themselves into groups, leaders always emerge. It's how we operate.

I don't see it as a bad thing if the leaders are well meaning, capable, and kept in check. Someone has to call the shots.

@Fred_Snerd

Yes, I'm totally in favor of direct democracy as much as possible.

But how about the day to day management of things? You can't get anything done if everyone is constantly bickering and voting.

@Fred_Snerd

Yea, and I bet they don't debate and vote on every minute management decision because that is not possible.

@Fred_Snerd

Well I hope so.

How are things going with your plan to create one?
