Curious observation... I 've checked out some groups and though I haven't decided yet I did notice something I found odd. A group that has 13 members and yet no posts except to welcome each of those members. None on the subject at all. There doesn't seem to be much activity on this site but that was strange.

I am new but is this common?

I don't get around much, but now I'm curious to know which group you found.

She outed her group out below. I wasn't trying to point a finger which is why I didn't mention it.

@Leelu thanks for the reply....finally dick tracy'ed it down . Sometime my curiosty just is not worth the effort.

@HankSherman You little Chi is adorable. My neighbor has one just like that.

@Leelu thank you, she pays her way by being my stress reliever, heart pacemaker, and exercise trainer, all rolled into one...and on cold days my lap warmer. She's about thirteen now, and we tease each other about who is the most forgetful.....like most all females, she is a joy.

Groups are created by individual members, not by the site. Sometimes groups take off. A lot of times, they don't. As with most other things on this site, it's difficult to actually delete anything, including groups.

As far as activity goes, I'm not sure why you think that. Be aware that at level 2, you're probably not seeing a lot of groups.

Thanks for the insight.

Why so secretive? Are you targeting that group for a particular reason? Have you contributed anything to the group?

Secretive? No, just trying to get some idea of what's going on without pointing fingers. How can you target what you don't identify.

@Leelu If that was true, you would have inquired within the group.

@LovinLarge That's your opinion.

@Leelu Who else's opinion would I be qualified to express?

@LovinLarge, obviously no one else's which is why you can't say what's true for someone else.

@Leelu I can and will if the facts support it, as in this case.

I just noticed that you were a recent visitor to my group. If it was my group you were referring to, you misrepresented the facts as there are posts and comments on point despite the group only being 2-3 weeks old. I can't see that your complaining without contributing would be helpful to any group.

@LovinLarge Not facts, opinions. You have no facts, only opinions as to why I did what I did. And your response has told me all I need to know. Thanks for the info.

@Leelu And you've told everyone reading all they need to know about you. Complaining about and misrepresenting the status of a group without contributing anything yourself. That's not going to get you anywhere around here. A group serves its membership, we're not here to perform for you.

Yes but they had great plans for that group!

Who is "they"?

@LovinLarge "13 members and yet no posts" in the unknown group the OP was referring to. I was being ironic.
