US election 2020: What young Democrats think of Joe Biden [bbc.com]
Joe Biden is about to be crowned as the Democrats' presidential nominee - but what do young millennials and Generation Z voters who support the party think of their candidate?
At the age of 77, the former vice-president is half a century older than the dozen voters we spoke to - yet it's his moderate politics rather than the age gap which has many struggling to get excited.

We Democrats should be under no illusion. If we win, we will only because the anger against Trump is high enough. It will not be because Biden has rescued us.
Biden is as uninspiring as you can get in a leader and the leaders in Washington are old wood who do not identify with young voters of America.
I think youngsters are going to be the bringers of democratic Socialism. I think if we can survive this climate crisis there is a bright future.
Agree, young people are non-conformative, rebellious and rule breakers all over the world. It has been going on for centuries. But data have come out to suggest that progressiveness is not higher in young voters. They have all types just like the grown up middle age voters are. There are conservative, religious, atheists among them.
Sorry I don't agree. Inspiration and motivation come from within. If you don't have them no one else is going to give it to you. I want competence. Some one who knows how things work. Biden is a segue to us getting better. Biden came out in support of gay marriage before Obama.
Trump is an inspiration to a few to the detriment of the rest of the country. I don't want platitudes or inspiring words any more I want action. Yes I want younger people, especially women, in public service and we will get there.
You are clearly not young, millennial or gen z.
Plus, who are you to tell people where to draw inspiration from? Have you never heard of inspirational quotes or songs?
Get over yourself, man. Seriously. If you knew how things worked you would have figured out by now that voting in the two party system clearly does not work in any meaningful way.
"the dozen voters we spoke to"
. . . this is laughable . . .LOL
