Worked for the Democrats ‘the first day’ (for free). Worked ‘at work’ the second day, nearly nine hours (paid). Worked for myself on the actual ‘Labor Day,’ the yard looks so good a neighbor walked over to compliment me … as another pulled up with a fresh baked loaf of bread!

The best part is, it’s over … and I took a long, aimless motorcycle ride yesterday, caped off by a half day of ‘work.’ As we had 4 magnificent, sunny, non humid days over here, family and friends on the West Coast (of usa) were hot & smokey… So it was one holiday I didn’t mind being ..far away ~
