I’ve just been watching the devastation of the fires raging on the West Coast of America on my TV...and my heart goes out to everyone who has been affected. I have seen that DT has landed there to deflect the blame away from climate change...I’m sure his presence is as welcome as fart in a spacesuit to those who have lost everything but the clothes they stand in.

I just want to say to any of you in any of the areas of Northern California and Oregon which are affected, and I do know there are quite a few members from there, please take care and I hope you and your loved ones all manage to stay safe.

It's Very Smokey in Grants Pass.

Where is that?

@Marionville Southern Oregon.

According to CBSLA, as of 11PM PST, it has gone from 6% contained to 3% contained.
I remember seeing all of the ashes all over my truck; having it washed one day,
and again covered in ashes the next day. My sympathies are also with those affeted.

We are getting sky effects from the smoke on the opposite side of the country in Pennsylvania. That’s thousands of miles away.

I never realised it would be seen as far away as the eastern states like PA.!

@Marionville back in the 1920’s Dust Bowl times the dust was blowing from the plains (Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas) and landing on ships in the middle of the Atlantic.

@Barnie2years wow...I’d no idea!
