Prison After Presidency?

If Trump & Co are, under present law (or what's left of it), in many cases vulnerable to prosecution and imprisonment once they are out of office, I think this would be an additional incentive for them to do enormous harm to the US system just to stay in office, regardless of the actual will of the people. So, I urge that those concerned with carrying out a fair election and correct legal post-election procedures be informed by an understanding of the level of motivation and willingness to break the law that will likely characterize the Trump Administration's last-ditch efforts to stay in power.

That's easy! We wait until after Trump is out of office. Then, we RICO Act the entire Trump Crime Family!

The Congressional Democrats have not been able to do it for three long years. I do not believe they can ever do it. If anybody can do it, it is going to be the prosecutor of Southern District of New York.

Think about what Congressional Democrats ever did when we Democratic voters were so outaged by Bush and Cheney:

  1. Millions of cash was distributed by hand in Iraq that the Inspector General said could not be traced or accounted for
  2. CIA agent outing by Cheney
  3. Lying by Rumsfeld and Powell about Iraq at the UN Security Council in broad day light
  4. Lying to American people about the reason to invade Iraq war
  5. The unjustified and wear of choice in Iraq killed and maimed thousands of Americans for the motives of oil and funding the defense industry
  6. Bringing one of the worst economic meltdown in the history

What happened? What did we demand? What did Obama do? Did we hold our lame, non-doer, selfish Democratic leaders accountable? Why are we adore Pelosi who has been there forever? Why did Hillary, Biden, Pelosi vote for the Iraq war? What punishment voters should give them?

It's too bad I worded it in this way, I can see how I'm getting responses about whether or not Trump would go to prison, but my goal was to shout out a warning that the threat of having to pay for their crimes (even if that possibility is low) is an extra incentive to the criminals to hang onto power. We should (especially considering the stakes) be erring on the side of over-estimating the chances they could somehow hang on to power (legally or illegally).

Democrats won't have to this time around, the States will take care of him. He'll be fleeing to Epstein's Island as soon as he can.

The Democrats are too nice and don't have the balls to do it.

It will never happen. I'll take him leaving office eventually and our republic not disappearing.

what will never happen? Prison after Presidency? My point was not to make a prediction or debate it. My point was to point up the extra incentive that criminal in office has to prevent and subvert a fair election and its outcome.

@kmaz he won't see justice
